Classics Web Ring
The purpose of the I Read Old Books Classics Web Ring is to help readers of classic literature find other bloggers that read and write about classic literature. Classics are hard to define, so we’re just using a generic definition of “books more than 50 years old.” If you read “old books” and if you blog about them, then we’re happy to welcome you to the Web Ring!
There is no “required” number of posts that you must have written in any certain period of time in order to join the Web Ring, but do keep in mind that people browsing through the Web Ring are looking for classics. If you read classics but never blog about them, Ring visitors might wonder why you’re a part of the Classics Web Ring! An easy-to-find directory of past reviews or a list of books you’ve read in the past might help new visitors navigate to the classic literature posts on your site.
Please note that all new blogs signing up to join the Ring will be screened to eliminate spammers and commercial sites. This Web Ring is primarily for individual and group bloggers, although bloggers do not need to be only book bloggers.

N.B. I am using Bravenet.com to begin this Ring. If it turns out to be unwieldy (for example, there are advertisements on the Web Ring page), we may try something else. To be a part of the Bravenet directory, you must register your site and insert code onto your blog. Once you’ve done so, you and others can browse through the entire Web Ring by finding the code on each Web Ring Site. If you don’t want to officially register as part of the Web Ring, you can of course still display a button on your site and link to this page. You will not technically be a part of the Ring if you do not insert the code onto your blog.
