Join the Circuit

You do not need to do anything special to join in celebrating the classics with The Classics Circuit as a tour follower. Simply follow along as classic authors or themes tour the blogosphere.

If you would like to be a tour participant that posts about a classic author or theme during the tour, you must have a blog.  To join a specific tour circuit, follow this site and watch for sign ups. Sign up for a tour is usually four to six weeks before a tour begins. (For example, sign up for the March tour was the last two weeks of January.) After you sign up, read your selected work and write a post! Before the tour begins, we will assign a day for the Circuit to visit your blog and we will provide a link to your blog on the main Circuit page that week. Post on your assigned day.

As mentioned, if you don’t have a blog, we’d love for you to still be a part of The Classics Circuit. Follow along with each tour and give us your thoughts for future tours.

Whether or not you have a blog, we welcome all readers, and we appreciate your feedback as well. Thanks for your interest in the classics!

If you’d like to be a part of the behind the scenes committee, send an email to Rebecca [at] Rebeccareid [dot] com.

Hi there, I have recently set up I what I suppose is a lifestyle blog – although my interests are broad and wide ranging. I love this idea and spend lots of time encouraging people to give Emile Zola a go ( he was my undergraduate dissertation topic ) ! If I can be of any help I’d be more than happy & also happy to host an author or theme – just let me know. Fantastic idea, well done !

I’m glad to have discovered you through your badge on Jane Greensmith’s blog. I will look for future tours, and I plan to sign up for Ancient Greeks! Meanwhile, I will visit the Trollope classics, since both the Barchester and Palliser novels are among my favorites! Thanks.
