The Classics Circuit is back from vacation! We’re doing a tour next month, and we’d love for you to join in.

The Land of the Rising Sun Meiji-era Tour focuses on literature by Japanese writers that wrote between 1868 and 1912. We have an extensive list of some of those authors on the site. Read some gothic stories by Izumi Kyōka or Natsume Soseki’s psychological novels.

Come read about the era and some of the authors that wrote in Meiji Japan. I hope you decide to sign up for the tour too.
