Our Meiji-era Japanese classics tour will run from November 1 until November 5.
The button from the tour comes from a 1898 photograph by T. Emani, a respected Meiji-era photographer. Mount Fuji is in the distance. Apparently, this spot is today the center of a busy interstate, convenience stores, and car dealerships. It reminds us of the different era that was Meiji Japan.
